Jack & Lazaro, the boys of Proenza Schouler, are not only incredibly endearing and lovely people, they are also undeniably talented and frighteningly creative. I don't think there's been a single collection of theirs that I haven't thoroughly lusted after for months on end. I am consistently amazed by their meticulous attention to detail and their hell-bent insistence on being as unique as possible -- so much so that almost every single textile they use in their collections is specifically manufactured for them each season. They are true designers and artists in every sense of the word. Their recent forays into knitwear have been mind-blowing, and they have recently announced that they will soon be delving into the exciting world of costume jewellery. I'll be first in line when the collection hits stores.
