Thakoon's Showroom - The Conveteur x Teen Vogue

I love this piece that Teen Vogue covered with The Coveteur, where Thakoon showed off pieces from his first collection all the way until FW '11, which he just recently showed in NYC.  It's a fascinating study in the evolution of a talented designer, such as Thakoon (who is one of my absolute personal favourites, you just don't get better printed dresses than Thakoon's).  It's interesting to see how he started out with simple colours, easy shapes and clean textiles, and then evolved into using elaborate prints he collaborated on with artists, complex drapery and innovative textiles such as his hand-plissed dresses and woven plaid.  Genius.
